As International Relations Coordinator, I work mainly on Public & Science Sweden’s European projects and international collaborations such as Genderactionplus, Inspiring ERA and as national expert in the European Commission’s Mutual Learning Exercise on Public Engagement. I’m also a board member of the European network – EUSEA – European Science Engagement Association as well as Hub Manager of Hub Sweden of the Falling Walls Engage network. At Public & Science Sweden we are also involved in national and EU advocacy and I’m member of the national reference group for the WIDERA programme within the EU framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe and for the European Research Area – ERA Forum.
As a Swedish expert organisation for open science, citizen science and science communication and public engagement, Public & Science Sweden has an important role to play in promoting and enhancing collaboration, engagement and dialogue between different actors; academia, policy, society and business at national, European and international levels. Science, research and innovation have no borders. Through collaboration, public engagement, inclusion and knowledge exchange at different levels, we seek to achieve sustainable societal development and help find the solutions to the societal challenges of our times.
