As Project Manager of Public & Science Sweden’s part of the EU project Re-MEND, using citizen science, we will develop new knowledge about mental illness in the elderly population. Public & Science Sweden’s involvement includes leading and developing the citizen engagement part of the project and increasing the public’s awareness and knowledge of mental health.
I am also involved in Public & Science Sweden’s training programmes on co-creative methods and citizen science, including a series of workshops on PPI – Patient and Public Involvement at Karolinska Institutet.
In addition to my employment at Public & Science Sweden, I hold a position as a researcher at Uppsala University, where I research co-creation in health research. My educational background is in nursing, and I did my PhD in public health at Uppsala University, on a thesis about co-creative methods in health research.
