International studies

Science and research are global to their nature, and surveys on the public’s view of science and researchers are carried out in many countries.

From December 2017 to February 2018, 6,000 people in six ORION partnering countries, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom (1000 persons/country), were asked about their attitudes to life sciences research and genome editing.

Studies on public attitudes towards science and researchers are being carried out in an increasing number of countries. VA is following these on an ongoing basis through our networks.
