Are you planning on participating in the Researchers’ Grand Prix this year? Or would you just like to be better at explaining what you do at work every day to your friends and family? In May, the Researchers’ Grand Prix is offering a webinar for researchers on how to communicate their research in a quick and engaging way.
The one-hour webinar (31th May, 11:00-12:00) will provide you with the tools you need to make a presentation in the Researchers’ Grand Prix or to help you communicate science to the public at European Researchers’ Night or if you are thinking of participating in Borrow a researcher. Or you might just want to get tips on how to make your research easier to understand! The webinar is open to anyone working with research in the public or private sector in Sweden.
The webinar will be led by Anders Sahlman. Anders is an experienced and highly regarded presentation coach, who has been coaching participants and finalists of the Researchers’ Grand Prix since 2012. He also does work for clients outside of the academic world. He has also coached the jury on TV4’s television programme Let’s Dance and in the book ”Five Stars” he was interviewed by American author Carmine Gallo about ways in which researchers can better explain their research.
Den 30 maj (kl 11-12) ges samma webbinarium på svenska, det anmäler du dig till här.
