How can we turn real-world community challenges into meaningful research questions? The EU LOESS project is offering an interactive online workshop designed for higher education lecturers on how to source soil-related challenges in the community and transform them into research questions and innovative solutions within the curriculum.

Together, the workshop will explore:
- How to frame research questions from a community soil health challenge
- Science Shop, service-learning & Community Engaged Research and Learning (CERL) methods
- Practical and ethical considerations in community–university CERL partnerships
- Principles of collaboration and co-creation
This is a hands-on, participatory workshop so participants should be prepared to have their cameras on and to participate in breakout discussions.
