A Mutual Learning Exercise (MLE) is an EU initiative designed to support the development of national and European policies through knowledge exchange and mutual learning. MLEs address Research & Innovation challenges of common interest to several EU Member States and Associated Countries, and are based on hands-on, project-oriented exchanges of good practices.
The overall goal of an MLE is to develop European guidelines and policy recommendations, while supporting those working on the topic in focus across Europe. It aim is to identify good practices, lessons learned and success factors based on robust evidence.
Public & Science Sweden has been and is participating in several Mutual Learning Exercises in recent years representing Swedish practitioners working on the following topics:
