Bengi R. Tikansak

As a project manager and researcher at Public & Science Sweden, I primarily work with the Resource Centre for Courses in Science Communication and the Swedish Science Barometer. I am also involved in the science festival European Researchers’ Night in Sweden.

I hold a PhD in Political Science from Sabanci University in Istanbul, Turkey, where my research focused on public perceptions of human rights. Additionally, I co-founded Turkey’s first fact-checking organisation, which combats disinformation through scientific communication and training in fact-checking methods.
